i've been emo for about idk maybe 3 years and alot of people tell me "your not emo your to big to be emo" but im not fat at all im just big boned i weigh about 200 pounds 5'9 i just want a good answer is this true big people cant be emo because if they cant i seen people over 250 pounds dress.

They're stereotyping. People who do that think "only skinny people can be models", "only tall people can play basketball"...the list goes on and on. My husband has a friend that's Emo and I think he's over 6' tall, and he's a bit heavier. Being a certain weight doesn't disclude you from being who you are.
To Sheena...yes there is such a thing as big boned people. They're called Germans. If you saw my mom (who's German) and you compared me to her you would see our bones are a completely different size, as I take after my Dad's UK size more.

you can be whatever you want to be. (except a runway model)
but anyways,.. what is emo?? does being emo mean you dress a certain way, and listen to a particular type of music? well I'm sure if you fall under those criteria (and you have black hair) then you can certainly be emo. dont let ignorant people tel you otherwise. When someone says something that shallow to you, you should turn t around, and comment on thier ignorance.

well, to complete go against what everyone else has said, no. you can't really be emo. besides the weakerthans, who aren't emo, there are no bands with real "big boned" or "fatty mcfat fat" members. on a related note, being emo is pretty dumb. if you're big, pick up sports. at least then you have an advantage. and you won't look like you're looking for attention.

emo is to show the equality of sex
girl and boy clothes are soo the same that's why the people is dressing like that: thin jeans make up ...
emo are against money violence ...

they have proved that there is no such thing as big boned almost everyones bones are the same not to be mean but that is your size you can ask the doctor and they will tell you the same thing
