System restore, the one that comes with most XP machines (built into windows) only restores the windows file, system, and folders. It is not intended to restore deleted files, there are programs out there for this but depending on how long ago you deleted them, how much you have deleted since, etc...Your songs may be lost forever
May i suggest "obtaining" the songs again?

somebody could desire to tell Jack ok(answer) that no longer something is completely deleted on a no longer easypersistent and not utilising a great deal of hassle. All deletion does is take away the relationship with the record interior the record allocation table of the record gadget. It takes hours to wipe records completely off a no longer easypersistent. even whilst undelete courses(seek Yahoo) can't get well a record it extremely is with the help of the fact they are in a position to't discover contiguous blocks or sectors no longer simply by fact the record isn't there. How did you completely delete them? Are you effective they do no longer seem to be interior the recycle bin? record restoration courses won't discover archives that are nonetheless recorded interior the record gadget.

system recovery is not design for you to recover your files. it is actually used to recover for softwares installed on your pc, but there might be a way to get your files back. You can roll back your pc. Even if you did not set up your pc to take images periodically, your pc still does that on its own. So try to roll back (restore) your pc to a check point your computer created. it will basically take your computer back to that day. good luck

Sometimes certain reovery programs can only recover certain things. I used one called Stomp Soft Recover lost data, that worked great for getting pictures and music, but it didn't do so well on documents.

Try Restoration - it's free but there's no guarantee your music files won't be corrupted
