That's alright, my son will only stay on the floor and do tummy time for a few minutes because he just gets so frustrated.. I just get on the floor with him and rub his back and tell him that he's doing great.. I also play some music that he likes, or point him towards the TV so he'll have to hold his head up higher to watch it.. When he starts to cry I'll pick him up shush him till he calms, then put him back down... He's started to actually enjoy it now.. Good luck and hope this helps...

Some babies don't like it. My niece hated it but once she started to sit up on her own she started crawling right away so she didn't need that tummy time. My son is 4 months old and he enjoys it but only for short periods.
I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Lots of babies don't enjoy tummy time...I would suggest you just keep at it and eventually she will feel more comfortable with it. If you don't already have one, they make these really nice tummy time play gyms with a pillow to prop her up so she can play easier...you can always give that a shot. Good luck and just be patient!

You cant really. Just keep trying for a few minutes at a time and see if she takes to it. My daughter did not like it till she was nearly a year old. Some babies just dont like it and it is nothing to worry about. One day she just went on her stomach because she wanted to. I was all ready for the usual tears and she was fine with it after that. Soon she was crawling and a few weeks later she was walking.

Yes, this is normal because my daughter refused to do it well, it became such a problem I asked her pediatrician and she said to just keep putting her on her tummy and get down with her. My daughter is going on seven months and is just now enjoying tummy time. Basically, they will do it when they feel comfortble.

Yes, I believe it is normal, at least for my baby it was. And it wasn't b/c of being spoiled from being held all the time. Try putting her on a boppy pillow and see how she likes that. Honestly, that didn't make my daughter like it any more, but it's a suggestion that the doctor had given me.

Every baby is different but just take your time and work with her on her tummy time each day and she will hopefully start to like it better......
