I would never wish to see a violent one in this country but a revolution is very much on the cards if the people get taxed and dictated to further and utilities rise at the alarming rates meaning a very cold winter for lots of people that is the situation that people decide enough is enough

As were not oppressed and on the whole quite well off there is no need for a revolution. We've been conditioned to accept our lot in life and, unless something drastic happened few would act.

Since this labour Government came to power in 1997 we have experienced a creeping left-wing takeover, supported and driven by the the TV media, teachers/lecturers and other toady acolytes. It will eventually culminate in our being consumed by that left wing monster, the EU. Goodbye Britain, Goodbye England. So. although we haven't had a bloody revolution, we have had one imposed by stealth.

What exactly do you mean? Recently? Or ever? Because the events of 1649 constitute a revolution. Also, see the Glorious Revolution of 1869.
These days the only major change we need to implement is abolition of the monarchy, but I'm not sure that would even count as revolution as the system of governement would remain largely unchanged.

The life cycle is usually brief: egg, four larval stages, short pupal stage and short-lived adult. Life cycles among species vary from 6 weeks to 6 years [1]; typically 1 to 2 years in temperate species, and up to 5 years in some Arctic species. Crane flies occur from the Arctic to equatorial forests and even in some mountain ranges. Most species are associated with moist temperate environments. They can occur in amazingly diverse habitats. These include fresh water, intertidal zones, cliff faces with film of wet algal growth, moist bung holes and lichen, decaying wood, mud, loamy soils by streams, leaf mining (a Hawaiian species), decaying plant materials, fungi, organic matter in some bird and mammal nests, crop fields, and dry soils in lawns and pastures.

It is a powerful country. But nobody was brave enough to actually trigger a revolution. The best time for it was probrably during the Commonwealth years under the 'Lord Protector' Oliver Cromwell.

There've been many revolts, fewer revolutions per se.
But we've had a civil war which was a revolution for all intents and purposes.

We had many revolutions in the past, that's how the Magne Carte came into being.
For years the government has beaten it out of us. Now we can get arrested for revving a car in a racist manner or of having racial thoughts.
Does that put it in contex?
