if the £ falls in value against the euro this invalidates the goverment assurance that they are saving money by means of this contract with dhl.should a responsible goverment "guess"at the futures in the exchange rate?if the contract is in £ should the directors of dhl take this risk?is this not another example of short term "new labour"solutions?

Priced in lost jobs as DHL will want a good profit margin. Lets see which Labour minister or one of their family gets a high paid job with DHL.

yes it is and one we all will be paying for and our children's children and their's again. short-term fixes have long-term consequences. Labour always do this, overspend, then the tories have to stop the spending for damage limitation, inheriting a mess as usual.
