I actually am a size 16 and believe it or not, but designers are actually FINALLY realizing that the average woman is a size 12 - 16. Its actually been proven in stats across the country. Haven't you (or anyone) noticed that many stores are selling more of the "bigger" sizes than they were a few years ago?

My mom (who wears anything from size 2 - 6) has a hard time now finding her size but can always find mine. Don't worry about it, as long as your healthy that's what matters, but when you get the point of your doctor telling you have to loose weight then worry.

And yes, being extremely skinny is out now!!! Look at alot of stars......alot of them have gained weight and gone from a size 2 to a size 8.....still small but they are gaining weight because its not healthy to be a rack

I read that a size 16 is now the average size for a female. When I was younger a size 7 was the average size.

A size 18 is big depending on your age/height/and weight. Now days people tihnk that a 9-12 is a average size for a female but as you kno some females are skinny at tha top but have 40inches or more of booty which makes tha pant size bigger so dependin on your size determines if itz normal or not

Skinny is not out and never will be.
However, Id say the average size is a 10-12.

As long as your healthy it doesn't matter what size you are. You can be a size 16 and be healthy while a person who is a size 2 is unhealthy. People come in all shapes and sizes and it doesn't matter which one is "average" these days. Be happy with who you are, no matter what size you are.

Stay healthy :)

Don't try to be skinny because others think your overweight. When you are ready to loose it all then do it. If you are a healthy size 14-18 then congratulations. If your not healthy then start eating right.

Good luck

try not to be "skinny" but to be healthy.. most foods are easy to tell if theyre good to eat or not. but if YOU want to lose weight... drink about 10 glasses (not cups) of water a day and climb up and down the stairs for about 20 minutes..
