To be honest, there are not that many studio apartments left in Chi Town (there are some, of course), and with bad credit you may have a problem. My guess is that the landlord will want a security deposit (as usual) and perhaps three to four months rent up front.

I moved in the position I stay now and signed a seven month employ. no longer particular why it changed into only seven months yet it really is what the managers needed and that i'm nevertheless right here. at the same time as searching for an condominium only ask the managers or landlords about your challenge and the way a lot employ you should signal with them. My advice is to really locate the right condominium, and examine out to signal a employ it somewhat is for you. you would no longer be able to get a a employ like that yet you should purpose to signal a six month employ and stay for an added month after wards, With the six month employ you would not be breaking the employ or something like that and by no skill apt to lose extra money.

I have rented several in that area over the last few years with no problems. They will generally overlook your scores as long as you have no previous lates/evictions/etc to other apartments. If you do owe money to other complexes or have previous evictions you will be better off trying to rent a house instead as they rarely check credit.

Widen your area. Can't be done downtown or north but check out west or south where downtown can be reached in 15 minutes.
