Yes, most definately! I've recently lost my sister. She was 33. Even through my grief, I believe that this is a message to me that life is too short and even though I feel I have wasted a lot of time up to this point, I am now taking this opportunity to truly let my loved ones know how I feel about them, taking the initiative to move toward the goals I've had for myself and just not taking life so seriously anymore. Its just to short...

You are confused you see this is more a spiritual question, it poses wether or not you believe in God as controling whether you live or die; if you do then you believe this is a second chance.
I believe in the Order of Chaos and believe that Chaos is impartial to my actions so i must explain this psychologically.
An epiphany occurs when questions and trains of thought which cloud your judgement are cleared and your brain allows connection to be made allowing your mind to clear.
Many people strive to reach euphoria some through non invaisve non-health threatening ways and some through dangerous drug use.
Either way when euphoria is reached the mind clears and for a short time everything is perfectly clear.
Sudden bursts of adrenaline produce the same effect allowing the person to reach a semi-euphoric state [i say semi since it is not often in"happy" circumstances but more "shock" like a car Crash]
I have had several epiphanies in my life [i am only 18 hard to believe] and after each one i felt a new beginning and a new direction in my life

I definitely believe in second chances. I haven't had any specific instances other than relationships but I do believe people deserve a second chance and alot of people get them, it just comes down to whether or not they chose to recognize them and do something about it.

Yes. Well one has to allow second chances. This is the case in our society when criminals are released from jail. But all we can do is allow them to learn from their mistakes and try to change their lives.
