I worked at a salon for a couple of years. You can get skin cancers from the beds. The creams have ingredients that activate something in your skin to tan quicker. The beds are not any safer that tanning in the sun.

If you are talking about the self tanning lotions the answer is no. The cream typically is a basic moisturizing cream with a bronzing agent.
I you are talking about a tanning oil which magnifies the sun's rays, then it could cause harm by amplifying the suns rays.

No what they do is make your body react to the sun U.V rays so your body produces more stuff to tan

No because the cream does not actually burn your skin like the sun.

don't think so, its just a cream that reacts to your natural oils and stuff on your body.

i read couple months a go on yahoo that they were made off snake oil its disgusting
