Edwards family fortune?

Does anyone know about the Edwards Family fortune for the family in New Zealand. Apparently an article was written about the Edwards family having a claim to the manhattan land and a picture was taken of my mother in the 1940s or Early 50s in New Zealand and I would really like to find it. If anyone finds the answer they would be brilliant

By the way the paper was called the pictorial at that time cant find it on the web
