Of course a YES to this would be unthinkable. Glad to see so many feel so strongly.

NO! I'am Native American, it's sad how we have to go through the Government for everything, So we get free benefits like medical and choice of universities and so on, but what do you think it makes us feel like? They took our land and our resources from us. I married outside our race, and I left my tribe after I was married, I traveled the world with my husband, went to culinary school in England, so I chose to be like everyone else in the world. I 'am thankful for my Native peoples to get free benefits, but at what cost? I do not want to feel like I'am free loading off the Government. It's a catch 22 for us. Sad really because there is this stereo typical view about the Native People, which is not true. The Natives who chose to do nothing with there life are just like any other kind of race, we are all the same, except the government CHOSE to put my people on a game preserve like we are animals. When in fact is we just want to be like everyone else in the USA. So No I do not think we the Natives should get Taxed anymore, I don't think the nation should get taxed anymore for that matter. I also think Our President is doing nothing benifical for our country. This is only my opinion, but I'am sure other people feel the same.

Their land, their self esteem, their pride, their spirit, their freedom, (as they knew it), has all been taken away.

Shall we take more? The majority have very little in the way of wealth. Do we want their blood? Have they not been broken enough?

I hope that the "taking" is over, forever. And I don't give a damn if every reservation is abundant with oil. Very unlikely.

Go visit the Black Hills of South Dakota, the statue of Cochise. He's pointing to their graveyard. Maybe we can take that too.

Entire Mt. Rushmore could fit into "one nostril" of his horse. It's spectacular. Far from finished. Only his head is complete at present.

Not unless they are fully represented by the government and entitled to all the rights and priveledges of citizenship. Hell, even then, I wouldn't have them pay taxes. We ought to be paying them, though I'm not sure genocide is worth.
