This action shouldn't require anything having to so with cookies. You need to set yahoo! as your homepage. Go to Tools/Internet Options/General and put the address in the top field where your home page is displayed. Take care!

What operating system and what browser are you using?
Normally setting the cookies to 'accept from the originating site only' works for everything you may want to do. Never accept cookies from a 3rd party site.

It depends on what browser you are using but you can usually find cookies option under tools tab on top of the browser and then click on the option

Are you talking about making Yahoo your homepage? If so, just go to tools->internet options->general tab-> then type in the Yahoo address (http://www.yahoo.com).
