No I don't feel we should boycott citgo . This is just a case of a unfriendly relationship between Bush and the Venezuelan president who made it clear he loves the American people however feels Bush is the devil . Sixty percent of Americans would face some sort of boycott if we follow those standards . Also he offered to sell discounted heating oil to poor American families , why pass up help for them over a personal squabble between presidents ?

I only get gas from Citgo. I know with Citgo I am not supporting Saudi Arabian oil which is one of the countries the 911 hijackers came from. Also Chavez takes oil money and cuts poverty in half with it. Chavez has stated more then once that his problem is with Bush not the American people. Bush and company don`t like Chavez because he sells oil cheaper and that brings down the world price and that is not good for profits but is good for the people.

Well, since this is a FREE society, Mr. Chavez had every right to call Bush the Devil. He could have called a democrat or Barney the Dinosaur the devil if he chose to do so. It is an unfortunate fact that he recieved 60 seconds of applause, while George Bush only got 15 the day before. I wonder what that says about how the world sees our President? Yes, what he said was a disgrace, but Freedom of Speech is guaranteed in our constitution.

Everyone up in arms because chavez called bush the devil.....
This really is the United States of Amnesia....
1) In 1982 Bob Jones III (fudamentalist christian school) called VP Bush "a devil"
2) In 2005 Right wing radio host(Jay Severin) called Hillary Clinton "the devil"
3) Earlier this month - Father Gabriele Amorth (the roman catholic's church top exorcist) called The fictional work of Harry Potter the "king of darkness - the devil"
So lets all get off our "fake" high horse and "fake" moral ground and grow up.

It doesn't matter much. If enough Americans boycott Citgo, Citgo will just sell their gasoline to the other major oil companies. Since overall gasoline demand isn't going down, there isn't much affect.

Wait a minute... hold it. We call that idiot plenty of names... right? We also call Dubya a horde of names and make fun of him, too, right? C'mon, I bet Dubya makes fun of that other clown, Chavez. Ever hear of "Sticks and stones..."?
I kinda feel a bit annoyed that someone else should Dubya an idiot or "Devil" (that's so funny... really, a crook calling another a thief!) since he's OUR idiot to insult, know what I mean? Heck, even loony-toonie Al Sharpton wanted to jump down Chavez' throat (I'll bet anyone that Al Sharpton can give Chavez a real good ol' fashion a s s-whuppin'... !). (I can't continue writing, I'm laughing too much).

7-Eleven decided that they will not extend their contract with Citgo, who supplied them with gasoline because of the remarks. They will instead get gas from companies out of California, Utah, and Texas, possibly from elsewhere. I totally agree with this, Citgo should be closed alltogether.
