What English words have no vowels?
English words containing all consonants include: brr, crwth, cwm, hmm, mm, nth, pfft, pht, psst, QT (meaning 'quiet'), shh, and tsktsk (and some of them have plurals). Words with only vowels are: aa, ai, aiaiai, eau, euouae, oe.

It depends upon your definition of vowel. In some English speaking countries "Y" is considered a vowel. Some other languages, including French and Spanish, also see it this way.
So if you see "Y" as a vowel, then no, there are no words without vowels in the English language. But if you do not believe that "Y" is a vowel, then there are plenty. "Rhythm" for example.

In junior school ( age 6-10yrs.) in England, we are taught that it is not possible to make an English word that does not contain a vowel. So if there are such words in existence, one must assume that they are of foreign origin!

"cwm" (pronounced "koom"), though the "w" is actually functioning as a vowel. It comes from Welsh for valley, and is a common word in some crossword puzzles (for obvious reasons).
