ok, I am a tranny, and the question I always get asked is, what bathroom do I use? are you serious, what bathroom do you think?

Ok. I'm gonna be real. Its a stupid question I know...BUT its something that people who never experience this think about. Granted, stupid questions are always better coming from people you are comfortable with and who you know accept you or from toddlers BUT I've never known a tranny and I may be temped to ask along with a whole lot of even DUMBER questions.
Please have patience with us ignorant folks. Some of us HONESTLY aren't hateful towards you but are seriously curious and while I know you're not a side show freak, its still.....

my opinion is that if your transsexual and you pass real well in other words your full time, live as a woman, keep your legs shaved and your face clean of any shadow then sure use the female restroom but if your not to that point and you use a woman's restroom be ready to hear complaints and possible confrontation with police.
i my self am full time i pass and i also had my name and gender on my ID changed to reflect that im a woman.
it shouldn't come down to whats between your legs but you need to be courteous of the other female patrons and if your making them uncomfortable expect trouble.
i waited till i was full time to use the female restrooms in public
gay clubs i use what open, but tend to use the female restroom the most there.
im not trying to say you don't pass but I'm sure any pre-op can relate to what I'm saying. I'm pre-op and id feel uncomfortable if someone that didn't look the roll came in and tried to use the rest room. people are going to think its a male trying to get a free peak or something. i've seen some like that. it also depends where your at because in austin if your dressed enfem you can use the female restroom even if your just starting and are obvious.

I will have to agree with most here. I am a lesbian butch and as long as it has a door and a stall I am cool if I go to a guys or girls bathroom. I automatically head for the girls restrooms, but as just ine said if they are too busy then I'm heading for the next choice.
As for you though, if you feel yourself a female then by all means use a female's restroom. Most of the time girls don't really care (they might look at you funny, but that's pretty much it).

I dint think I would even ask this question......ever... I have run into many m2f tranny's and In a gay bar your never like oh my God.. Even if I was in a str8ght place I would be like hi what's up... If I had to pee real bad and woman's bathroom was full. I would run into the guys bathroom... if Gay place only.....

Well I'm glad you answered that question. Until this weekend, I also wondered. I was at this Piano Bar and happen to notice a "tranny"; who actually went right into the women's bathroom. My question is how do women feel about sharing their bathrooms?

Sounds sencible enough to me.
If you identify as female, then it's the female restroom you should use.
Honestly, I think all restrooms should have closing stall doors, and they all should be turned to "intergender" restrooms.
But that's just me.
I really don't care what restroom I use, as long as it's got a door on the stall, I'm good with that.

I'd imagine that some guys would get violent upon seeing you in their bathrooms. I'd leave you to do your business in peace in the ladies' lav.
And I'm not trans, but I have two friends who are, and they get that a lot, too.

I did a paper for a psych class once on trangerderism, and the one thing that I learned is that a person is as s/her presents. You present as a female, you sould use the ladies' room.

You can use whatever bathroom you wish, just not legally. If you are truly transgendering (vs transvestite), you will need to have a Doctor's letter to legally use the women's room. Otherwise, you could be arrested.

purely the single the place I vowed to devour extra salads and vegetables. effective has replaced my bathing room life! I spend a good distance much less time in there pondering stupid stuff now, and extra time asking stupid questions approximately yahoo!
