I want to learn how to design web sites, by putting it all together (CSS and graphics). Basically I want to learn the skills to create a visually pleasing website.
Any sites that focus on the design vs HTML coding is what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the current answers, but I really want to get this point across: I want a site focusing on the design, not the code.

One more point of clarification: I know HTML, Javascript, among others. My problem is that when I try to make a good site, it always ends up looking like crap.
I want to improve on that. :)

If you want to learn webdesign, you HAVE to know a little HTML. Otherwise, you're just a graphic designer. And there isn't such thing as HTML vs. design. A web design is nothing without HTML.

www.w3schools.com has CSS tutorials. And, CSS is code. Don't be afraid of HTML. It's your friend. And, you may even like it. There's nothing wrong with learning something new.

You can use Adobe GoLive to create websites. I personally like dreamweaver better but they are similar products. In GoLive I would recommend you start by learning basic HTML... then try all the fancy stuff later. Golive has "snippets" of code that you can drag and drop in your web page and change around. Play around with the program and you'll learn a lot.
