I filed about a month ago, with EEOC and I had not heard nothing back as yet. So I telephoned today and the woman said I should be getting a letter next week stating my greivence is under review? So why has it taken over a month, and why the review? Does that mean they are doing an investigation? This is all new to me, so please answer honestly as this is a serious inquiry. Thank you

It usually means it is in the process somewhere. It may be an investigation. or someone may be looking at it to see if there is a need for an investigation, or the investigation is complete and they are looking to see what was found. Basically the timeline you are reffering to is because it is a beuracracy and beuracracies take a lot of time to do a simple thing.

Since that is a department that works complaints, they may have many ahead of yours. They are still gathering the information and then this information needs to be reviewed. They will not just take your word for something. This takes time. So be patient and you will get your answer as soon as they can get it to you.

they'd nicely be going for persons of the suitable abilty first then operating their way down. in the experience that your grades were somewhat undesirable they they'd have placed you in a reserve pile to analyze at the same time as they taken anybody with the suitable grades. in the different case they only havent gotten round to that crew of applications yet. It takes position each and each of the time theres no favor to be anxious, you should get your letter interior 5 operating days.
