Just for the record, the Mets nor Yankees are on WWOR anymore... Yankees are on the YES network and Mets are on SportsNet NY.

It depends on what part of New York you are located in. WWOR is on the Syracuse spot feed. If you can receive it, it should be on channel 9. To get WWOR, your satellite dish must be able to receive signals off of DirecTV 1R/4S/8 (the satellite in space) at 101.0°W - rather than the Rochester or Albany feed on DirecTV 7S at 119.0°W.

WWOR is a local affliate of UPN. If your in the NY area you can get WWOR on local DirecTV. If not UPN broadcasts on DirecTV.
