she looks exactly like him though. She's the splitting image of him and doesn't look like me. So praise god he doesn't think i cheated. But we've tested her twice and both time, the same thing has come up.

it's is definitely possible, so don't worry about it!! and don't let anyone tell you differently!!! the abo type and rh typing are based on two different factors or proteins on the red blood cells.
all this means is that your baby did not inherit the rh factor. now if both of you were rh negative and your baby was rh positive, that could be another story. the same would apply if your baby was type b or ab.
with your partner's blood type being o+ and yours being a-, your baby's blood type could be:
a-
a+
o-
o+
i hope this helps ease your mind!!

Nursen' I suggest you check you genetics textbooks and make an expeditious turnaround on your comment! Incorrect information on this board could really make problems for questioners..

As to whether an O+ and and A+ can have an A- child? YES! It is entirely possible. Do some research.....

Because postive Rh is dominant. A person can have a positive gene and a negative gene, and still be positive. A person needs two negative genes to be negative.

Both you and your husband have one of each, and donated the negative gene to your child. Between you two, one out of four kids will be negative.
