What can I do to help take back America from the secular filth merchants that are corrupting the children?

Move to some country that allows religion to dictate political policy, and which requires people to follow the religious morality that you seek to have imposed on everyone by force.

I understand that you don't like the choices people make, or the freedoms that people have. Neither do most fascist fanatics. Fortunately, we still live in a country where constitutional freedoms have not been totally obliterated in the name of religious fanaticism.

So, if you want that, try somewhere else.

i would not call anyone filth merchants bottom line is that maybe parents should pay attention to what their kids are doing, watching, reading and what is going on at the school. i understand most parents work and cannot supervise their children 24/7. but that is not the "filth merchants" fault. i would hate to see the country start outlawing things just because some people find them offensive.

If I understand you correctly, you are understandably enraged by the seemingly never ending supply of media portraying sex, bad language, and other types of immorality as if it were perfectly normal, accepted behavior. It really has gotten out of hand, and it is very hard to raise children in such a world. What we can do to take it back- I wish I knew, but it is definitely worth looking into. If you get wind of any organizations that make sense, let me know. There have to be decent people who would like to see moderate changes.

This phrasing, "take back America," has been bandied about a lot recently, it seems. The nation is never really "taken back;" it merely moves progressively for several years and then relatively oppressively for several years. But liberals like myself have become so cynical during the past six years or so, so cynical that we don't really have the same optimism about taking anything back anymore. We just think, "My God, are Americans really as backward as it seems?!! They prefer a president who likes to buffer himself from the views and perspectives of scientists, and ignore basic human rights." As far as human rights goes, what exactly is "back"? Has the United States ever renounced premeditated killing? (Yes. From 1972 to 1976. That's all.) But does the asker here refer to human rights at all when he or she uses the phrase "take back America"? Methinks he refers to a different political agenda: Democrat over Republican, for example; not human rights over fascist oppression or Armageddon.

Start at home. If you have kids, keep the tv off, and read and do educational and fun things together instead. Teach them manners and values, lead by example.

If you don't have kids, volunteer at a community center or a library and get involved with the young people. Set a good example for them. Teach them better values than they see on mainstream tv and in the movies. Teach them manners.

the Internet is the place that all evil ascends from today .It allows predators to pray on your children as you sit back and let them waste there lives in front of computer screens .It has brought porn and the human sexual experience to all time lows .Perversions of all types are allowed to flourish and profit from this medium .Only some one such as myself see this as an evolutionary step needed to bring about change for the better .An acceptance of who and what we all are .Animals with insatiable desire for power and control .
Some are happy corrupting there own young and handing down myths and superstitions of old like religions and others just want to sexually fulfill there lust with there own because they can not fulfill this lust elsewhere .
Man is an evil beast that needs to be tamed for the good of all .Some must suffer so that others my live .
Once we accept this notion that we are evil to the core we can address the common sanity needed to control man .That each of us has the right to choose his own path .That parents may not force the indoctrinations of religion politics and morality upon the youth .That man is a sexual being and seeks mind altering substances and pleasures of the flesh for his own enjoyment .That greed lust and power rule this earth and nothing will change this but the truth .
We need to begin telling the truth and protecting the weak but not for the sake of religion but for the sake of each individual .
Science math and literature must be taught and religion and greed and power debunked for the criminality of it all to the existence of a peace full society .
