Me? Painting (even if it's painting on a T-shirt), being excited about going to a high school football game where I'm an alumni at, cooking something involved, baking, being on here, thinking about some good memories of distant past, having a good laugh, dancing (if there's people who are watching), karaoke (if people are listening), being around people who truly care about me, writing, playing guitar, phone conversations, playing darts, having platonic guy friends to hang out with, especially now that I'm single, being lazy in the bath tub, listening and dozing to relaxation tapes, being in downtown Chicago, to name some.

And the fact that there's a spell check on here! LOL! ;-)

I forgot to mention, anything I can get a great sense of accomplishment, big or small, or if somehow made someone's day.

You may laugh at this, but I take solace in playing sports. Tennis, basketball, the batting cages. It's where I feel just like a kid playing again, and the rest of the world just fades away.

long milk baths
good conversation
sleeping in someones arms
sitting in the porch swing while reading a good book
a great joke accompanied by a belly laugh
burning a scented candle
sitting in silence with a loved one (not having to prove anything by talking, but just at ease being in each other's company)

For me it's getting out in the woods or other natural area and communing with Nature. Back when I had horses riding REALLY did it for me!!! I also get a genuine boost from going to Indian Pow Wows and dancing in the Intertribals.

Meditation....
I run a meditation meeting at a church for people of any religion or background to come and take part.... it is completely non-denominational and we have had christian, catholic, buddhist, agnostic, atheist and wiccan participants...

We are very valuable to people working a 12 step program and it is so relaxing and therapeutic for me.... I don't know what I would do without my Monday nights.
