They just put a Taco Del Mar here at Point Mugu Ca and it sucks, the food is cheap and tastes like there food is straight from a can, (from the dollar store). They do have cheap beer though. Whats up with this chain? Is it one of those franchises that will end soon?

Yeah, I think it sucks too...Tried one in Washington. The food was soupy and had a crappy flavor....Will NOT return.

This fraud of scheme on great food is one of the biggest jokes that I have ever had the misfortune of sampling. I wouldn't recommend this place to tourists. They get the gas face "thumbs down" salute! They would get laughed out of Cali and Mexico for ever attempting to pass this mess off as as anything resembling south of the boarder fare. Change the name to "Gavacho del Taco" then you won't be fooling the uninitiated.

Must be a west coast thing. No Taco Del Mar's over here, but I've never liked Taco Bell too much. I put in my search for the nearest one to here and it comes up with Iowa and Nebraska LOL... each between 1100 and 1200 miles from here.

I disagree...its pretty good. Try the ones in San Diego, their quality is much better.
