I cant dance at all. I have two left feet, two right arms, and no co-ordination or rythm when it comes to flowing with the beat. Is something absolutely wrong with me?

Before I started dating my boyfriend I loved to dance, and go to clubs. He can't dance and does not like clubs so we just don't do it, I don'T mind at all. Maybe you could find a girl willing to teach you.

Went to dancing classes this past summer and had a blast - it was so easy and fun and everyone seemed so supportive and kind. There are classes that they develop and they beg guys to come to be partners and learn to dance, too. This class said they would let guys in for free to participate. Maybe you could check that out. You might meet some nice people there! :) I now know how to salsa! Ole!

I don't think that girls hate them but if the girl is a dancer she would like to be with a boy who knows how to move too. There isn't anything wrong with you. It's just that some people have to be taught coordination and rhythm. Did you know that even deaf people can dance? They can't hear the music but can be taught to feel it. So, if you want to learn how to dance, it is possible! Just go for it! Dancing is fun and social and you might end up dating a really cute dancer. :)

I've been married for 27+ years to a guy who doesn't dance and won't take lessons. I am taking East Coast Swing lessons and he has given me his blessing as long as I don't try to make him dance when we go out.

If you really want to learn how to dance, there are lots of places that can teach you. I go to a local place in town where everyone else in the class is in the same boat so we don't feel awkward and are having fun even if we step on each other's toes.

If a guy can dance, I just see it as a fun bonus.
Nothing's wrong with you, you're just not good at dancing. It's not a big deal, but if you really want to change that then there are always dance lessons/videos/etc.
The only reason why I can see it as a turnoff is because of the connotations associated with a guy who can dance. Basically, if a guy can dance, he can not only rock the dancefloor, but he can rock my world too. I don't know the research in that, but it's a pretty well-known "theory" (if you want to call it that).

No, I don't, but I'm not into dancing anyway though. Maybe the right gal could teach you? Something to think about.

Funny thing, you should check out my latest salsa question. I was beginning to wonder that same thing: would a guy not like me if I couldn't dance? (It's something somewhat big where I live)...

No, you just need dance lessons. I tend to liken dancing to performance in the sack. Practice makes perfect.
