Everyone is different. Mine felt (early on) like a butterfly moving around in there. It got stronger and stronger as the weeks
went on.

I have experienced that feeling too especially early on. You can expect to feel the baby move somewhere between 16 and 20 weeks of pregnancy. Those first movements can indeed feel like a twitching nerve. It shouldn't hurt however. Check with your Dr. or midwife if it does.

It sounds like it could well be the baby moving indeed. Hee hee, exciting! It will become more obvious in a matter of weeks and you won't mistaken it for anything after a couple of proper kicks. I remember thinking I was just imagining it until "something" pushed hard for me to stop pressing my belly against the edge of my desk... Oooh hello there!

I miss that feeling, although getting beaten up from the inside does get a bit tiresome towards the end :p. You'll know what I mean when you get there...

My siste really didn't like feeling the movements for the first couple of months at least, so if you don't enjoy it but think you should, don't beat yourself up.

It could be. You must be early on, so it's hard to know at first what you are feeling. Kicks and punches early on feel like fluttering, or gas or even a twitching nerve. As your baby gets bigger you'll be able to tell the differences in the different types of movements. You'll even be able to recognize when the baby has the hiccups. Enjoy!

everyone feels/describes the baby's movement differently but in my experience yes it is like a twitching nerve until the movements become more prominent and then you can feel kicks and see the movements

I felt that experience when i was expecting, it can also feel like a bubble popping (not painful) or like when you have wind in your stomach. As your baby gets bigger and stronger you will be more certain. I first felt my baby moving, but i didn't tell anyone for a few weeks as i thought i was imagining it. Lol

Good luck

It most likely is. When I started to feel the baby move it felt like a bubble.

in my experience it was kind of like a little twitch of a nerve or a little bubble bursting if that makes any sense to you.

I think everyone has their own reaction on how it feels to first feel your baby move. As you get further along you will definitley know when your baby is moving without a question... it will soon become more consistant.

congrats to you!!
