I am sending out a mailing and need to know if it's ok to staple the thing shut or do I have to use a sticker?

Staples get caught in the machines at the post office and your mail gets ripped.

Stickers or tape.
Staples will jam the machines and the post office won't process.

i believe the post office prefers tape or sticker
