My baby is due March 13. So I was thinking at the end of January to have the shower. When do most people have theirs?

The end of January will be good for you. About 2 months before the due date is normal for most. If you wait too long you might not even feel like going to a shower, and if you do it too early you might not be sure of what you really want or need, or what the baby's sex might be. Plus when you have your nice big belly then that makes for some fun shower games, like the toilet paper ones. Good Luck and congratulations!

All of the baby showers that I have attended have normally been 1 - 3 months before the baby was due. Most of them wanted to wait that long so they would know the sex of the baby to make shopping easier. But I do know a couple of people that actually had a shower after the baby was born. I think January is a good time to have your shower. I would make sure the invitations were out at least 3 weeks before to give people time to shop and make arrangements to be there. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope everything goes well and that you get everything your little bundle of joy needs.

Every baby shower I ever went to was always 6 to 8 weeks before the due date so at the end of january would be cool.

January is a good date... you will be closer to your due date and know exactly what you are needing for your baby registry. It really doesnt matter when you have it...but most ppl like to find out what they are having before they have their baby shower.

Im due on march 7. I think the end of jan is perfect. thats what my friends and family plan on having a baby shower for me. congrats.

2 months before is good i think, actually i didn't know what i was having so they had my shower when my oldest son was 8 days old. that was pretty neet cause evryone got to see the baby at the same time , they knew he was a boy and there was no confusion , it was awesome !!

You don't throw it for yourself. Your friends or co workers usually put it on for you and I believe most showers are thrown in the third trimester and some people even wait until after the baby is born.

At least 4-6 weeks before your due date this way you can wash the clothes and blankets and get everything together.

I would wait till the baby is born...I hat showers before the baby is born...what if something goes wrong?? If you have it after then you can have the baby there
