Any state that allows for the death penalty offers the option of lethal injection. Sometimes the state may allow the prisoner to chose another method if it is allowed by that particular state. Good Luck ! :)

Most all of them with a death penalty have lethal injection. In a couple of states, the prisoner has the option of lethal injection, or, like California, the gas chamber, or Utah, Firing Squad.

I think too many prisoners stay way too long on death row before a sentence is carried out. In California, a person may stay there for 15-20 years. In Texas, about 10-12 years. I hear Texas is putting in a fast lane.

Oklahoma uses lethal injections for all cases. However it is still legal to hang, gas, electrocute, or i believe death by firing squad. These are no longer used by the state, but there is no law preventing their use either. I am in favor of drawn and quartered, but thats just me.

Same answer as the electric chair question - not nearly enough of them.

Sorry to all that oppose the death penalty, but I have no sympathy for the murderers of others that did a crime heinous enough for the death penalty to be the sentence.
