Are these shows for real? Sometimes they seem fake

I think only Judge Judy is the real one

They are definitely real. They have thousands of people writing in via website and/or calling every day. There are 2 main reasons why people want to go on the show 1) They want to be on TV 2)The case is settled and they get a paid ticket to New York or wherever the show is filmed and a free room. In the case of the People's Court, there is a fund of $ that is paid out to both the winner and the loser of the case. The winner obviously gets more and the loser gets less. This means sometimes they can close the case without paying a dime even if they are found guilty. The reason it says that some things are edited out is that it would be extremely boring if we had to watch while the judge stopped to make phone call or look up information about the case. Also, there is alot of useless dialog that goes on that is not really relevant and would make the show go on for hours instead of 1/2 hour or an hour.

What Judge Shows? If ur talking about like J udge Judy and all those Yes they are real. I am not sure what u want to know

notice at the end of each show they say something like.."portions of this show, not affecting the outcome, have been edited"......so yeah i think for the most part its fake
