have u seen anything scary, or did u just end up scratching yourself? i get freaked out thinking about that hahah, so when it's dark i turn on a light quick!!!

I was always too chicken to try it. Even now I don't want to do it even though I know it's nothing real.

I tried it with my cousin. We couldnt get out of the bathroom. The door had locked itself, and the light switch stopped working..seriosly. After a minute things were normal again, and we agreed to not do that again! Scary, but funny now that think back at it.

Yeah, i heard if you look into the mirror and say "GOD, GOD, GOD" he will strike his fist down at you and knock you dead.
I tried it, and that didn't happen. What does that tell you about the myth of Bloody Mary, God, Werewolves, Fairies, Easter Bunny, Santa, Loch Ness, Bigfoot, Leprechauns, Chucky, Jason, Swamp Thing,
Need I go on? All man's imagination. Nothing will happen.

Seriously, an ex-boyfriend of mine did that. He was just showing out in front of everyone. The next day (August the 24th 1999) he was found dead in his mothers house. The coroner said that he had died from an anurisum but I never believed that.

I did it to freak out my foster child. She swore that something was going to happen...so I did it. Nothing happened.
So I waited later til she was in bed and started scratching on the walls and shaking things...scared the heck outta her.

I tried once a long time ago and got scared, seemed like there was something there, but I think it's just the fact that you are focusing your eyes so long in the dark.

That is so old. I can remember doing that as a kid like 35 years ago. I think it was even a B-Movie. Nothing ever happened though. Folklore.

In the first place, the superstition is so full of it that there are actually different versions of what will happen. In the second place, I tried it and it prooves even more that it's full of it.

i've never done it. my mom told me about it when i was like in 3rd grade so i'm creeped out. i used to go 2 the bathroom closing my eyes, and washing my hands in the kitchen sink with no mirror in fronta me.
