It's funny. Often my first impression of people is different than others get. Like if I meet someone and find some 'issues' with him, it seems like other people who meet him also feel opposite.

Then what happens as we get to knwo the person, I might start to warm up to him and then POW, my first impression comes back because he's done something horrible.

Had a person my brother dated and from the start I didn't like her but my mom loved her. I had big problems with this girl. Mom told me to get over it. Now, over a year later, my mom can't stand the girl and wishes she'd never met her.

Oh yes! When I met John, I thought he was a long haired dippy hippie. Not what a single mom needed or wanted. He left and went back to school, asking if he could correspond with me. Then he wrote me a twelve page letter on the issues regarding Dessert Storm and the feeling of entitlement the college students had...we've been married eleven years now.

Of course... who hasn't? I don't judge people, but I always do get a first impression. Most of the times I am right, but it has happened that my first impression of someone ends up to be completely opposite...

No, I wasn't wrong, but if I will spend a few minutes I can always find a way to relate to them. I've been working with the public in stressful conditions for years. Everyone wants to feel special, and they are.

Absolutely. Two girls I've met in life where I thought they were "stuck up little princesses" actually turned out to be two of the best friends I've ever had with the longest friendship.

That just goes to show, "don't judge a book by its cover."

definite, i think of it occurs to quite everyone. it seems that it occurs as quickly as we are in a hurry, to start or end a sparkling dating somwhow...and former reviews have a great impression of ways we see the guy on the 1st sight. yet inspite of each and every thing, that's all approximately supply the relation adequate time, being affected person and honest with ourselves...and notice previous the visual attraction. reliable success.

who hasn't prejudged someone based on their looks or from what others have said?

I was working at a store during the Chirstmas season one year and there was a female who i thought looked mean and snotty. I don't remember how, but during that season we became good friends. We would go on our breaks and take lunch together and she was really fun to hang out with. Not at all what i had prejudged her to be.

yes my boyfriend as a matter of fact...i wasn't attracted or interested in him at all at first i would still talk to him a lil off and on...and even then NOTHING...i just thought he was this guy that wasn't about nothing...until i got my heartbroken by another guy and called myself trying to use him as a guy to have on the rebound nothing more...and through me being selfish we spent more time together talked more and i found out so many things that me and him have in common...its crazy cuz when i wasn't into him he would always say one day we were gonna be together and i didn't think twice about it and now we are inseparable.

Not yet. Of course, I don't judge anyone, and always leave myself open to the idea that they are much different than my impression of them. It's just odd, but I am sure that this happens to most people, and those that is don't may not listen to their 'gut' feelings very well. Who knows? Take care!

not really, cause I am good when it comes to looking at people and seeing what their about, either I am right about almost everything, or I think I am not right, but it comes out in the end that I was right and they were putting on a face, but I have not been totally wrong
