No. Is it wrong that we don't circumcize females in this country?
on edit:
What the heck is wrong with everyone here? Circumcizing children is cruel. Most modern countries, besides ones such as Israel that do this for religious purposes, don't have too many of their children circumcized. Look here at the lists of countries. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcision_worldwide Notice where we fall in this, along with a bunch of developing world countries.
Majority of males circumcised for cultural/ritual reasons
Angola[3], Benin[3], China[citation needed], Burkina Faso[3], Eritrea[3], Ghana[3], Kenya, Madagascar[3], Philippines, Republic of the Congo[3], Samoa, South Korea, Tonga, United States[1], and Vanuatu
I'd equate this practice of ours with female circumcisions that are popular in Africa, when they cut off the clittoris.
Read what the AMA has to say about this.

It's a personal choice. Myself, if I had a boy, I would have it done. It is more sanitary because the skin left around the penis when uncircumcised has to be kept clean or things can get under the folds and cause all sorts of problems, including infections that will require the procedure in adulthood (ouch). Some studies even claim it increases the risk of catching certain STDs, HIV, and penile cancer (again likely linked to improper hygiene). Critics say the chances are very small, however I wouldn't be willing to risk it. The only so-called benefit I have heard offered up for not being circumcised is increased sensitivity during sex, not much of a trade off for potential disease and death! Besides the increased sensitivity means they can't last very long which is why many adult men go have it done. As a woman, I think an uncircumcised penis is kinda gross and he'll probably get teased a lot in gym class too.

I have no idea why some people make such a big deal out of it. My husband is not circumcised and I am due to have a baby boy any day and have no intentions of having him circumcised either. The only thing is that as he gets older he will have to make sure to clean himself very well so he has no problems. I remember my sister in law had to get her son circumcised at like age 10 since he had a horrible infection from not cleaning properly. So if he practices good hygiene there will be no problems.

Absolutely not. Remember, 85% of the world's male population is uncircumcised!
Just like many people say, it is a personal choice. Your son's, not really yours. How do you know if he wants to be circumcised? If he does, then he can have it done when he is older. It is not true that it is easier in infancy. First of all, in infants, the foreskin is attached to the gland, so removing the foreskin is more painful. Also, adults patients usually get general anesthesia or spinal blockage to have the procedure done, while babies get only local anesthesia (which is painful itself).

I dont think there should be a big deal about it. Doctors say that it can lead to infections b/c bacteria can be stored inthe excess skin but whatever. If you arent cleaning down there enough circumcised or not you could get an infection. It should be left up to the parents. If you want it done then good for you, if you dont and want your child to decide then so be it. There is no right/wrong decision in my book.

Being circumcised is a health issues for some and a religious thing for others. When my son was born I had him circumcised because I thought if you weren't you were weird, but after looking at literature given to me from my sons doctor I found there are men/boys young and old that are not circumcised.

there is nothing wrong with not be circumcised? the pros for being circumcised are: it's cleaner otherwise bacteria grows under the foreskin and can cause infection and odor.
it's easier to keep clean without the foreskin.
uncircumcised males sometimes have a problem with the foreskin becoming to tight over the head of the penis as they grow up wich can cause constriction.
but it is a personal choice no wrong or right to the question

Well as the wife of an uncircumcised man I can only offer an answer from my perspective. When he is grown that is he may experience these problems:
My husband has odor down there and it is because the foreskin keeps the pee and other stuff trapped underneath.
Women often look at an uncicumcised penis as scandalous like there is something hiding behind there, and well there is..
He has problems with maturbation and intercourse sensitivity..while a normal man would like the whole penis rubbed during masturnation the uncircumcised man only prefers the head or tip. The intercourse can often be unsatisfying for his partner due to the overstimulation of the head causing ejaculation to soon
Hope this helps

in the UK boys are very rarely circumcised unless it is for religious or medical reasons and even the religious ones have trouble doing it. its not thought of as the right thing to do to such a small person..its your choice not to have your son circumcised when he gets older he can pick then if he wants it done but right now leave him the way he was made

Nope.. nothing wrong at all with having a son uncircumcised.
Nothing wrong with having a son circumcised either.
and if people start responding to this question making smarty pants remarks about an uncut penis... well then I feel really sorry for them.

No, I don't think it's wrong. If I have a boy and am definitely leaning towards not circumcising him. There are some health issues involved, but I don't really think that is a really big problem as long as you keep the area clean.
