A different sentence may be because circumstances may have been slightly different for all three. It could be that the males had previous history of offending, were older or perhaps their part in the offence was greater (assuming they are co-defendants). It would also depend on whether they pleaded guilty at the first opportunity or were found guilty at trial. Basically, what I am getting at is that there are a lot of variable factors which affect what sentence is passed and each person would have been viewed as an individual. Normally in the UK a pre-sentence reports prepared on them to guide judges in decision making. These are prepared by probation officers and make specific recommendations for that offender according to their circumstances.

According to the statistics women are least likely to re-commit the same crime or another crime and therefore are safer to allow back into society. Statistically speaking.

It's probably because men are more likely to have had prior convictions. Whenever you have priors you are on a different set of guidelines (the amount of time min. to max your conviction would carry) For example petty theft or (retail fraud) normally would be like 60-90 days depending on county. The second offense changes the guidelines to 6mos-1yr.

That's right, Mad Albright should be brought to justice over war crimes and be harshly punished-the fact she is a woman and Jewish (a fact retarder Israelis suggest is a reason for her to get some prize or something)-should NOT be a reason to have mercy on her.

If I ever do anything wrong I might consider having a sex change as it might get me out of gaol early.
Does that mean I would have to convert to a lesbian?
It sounds better by the second!
