Don't want to mention any names, but his initials are George W. Bush, the current President of the United States.
He wanted to get Saddam for threatening the life of his daddy during the first war against Iraq. They didn't get him that time, so they had to try it again.

We attacked them .. Iraq did not attack us. It was pushed by Donald Rumsfeld .. and Bush, apparently wanted it too. Why did they want it ? There are a lot of theories .. but one is to get a stronghold in the Middle East and to take over the oil supplies to whatever extend possible. Good Luck ! :)
