To pay them! You need to take the initiative to pay them. For all you know they want you "out" and then they can be like...oh they never paid rent!! Or they may have a lapsed memory and then 2-3 month's down the road come up to you expecting all those month's of rent at once! I think they are being shady..I would definatly contact them!

If I understand this right...
You sold your house to the new owners, and are still living there, presumedly until you can build or close on the deal for your new house. In the meantime, you are renting it back from them on a month by month basis.
If that's the case, and if they have not come to collect the rent yet, I'd look closely at the sales agreement. Does it say how that rent is supposed to be paid, or delivered to the new owner? If so, you should follow whatever it says there. If not, I would call them, and ask where to mail a check. You've made a contract here, and you should honor it, even if the exact terms aren't spelled out completely. You might as well stay on good terms with them, rather than cause a fuss.

Contact the new owners - they may be waiting for you to deliver the rent. They also may be looking for a way to get rid of you as renters, which would be justifiable if you haven't paid them. Call right away. If they say they just haven't had time to pick it up, tell them your bringing it to them. Might not hurt to type up a letter and have them sign it saying the received the rent. Good Luck

What the hell do you mean? You're supposed to just send them the rent. I've never had a landlord come 'collect' rent- you just send it to them. And if you go to court, the judge is going to ask if you're an idiot and thought you could just 'get away' with not paying.
Pay them, for gosh sakes.

I'm not sure what you mean by "collect" the rent. They may be expecting you to mail it to them or drop it off. That's the most common way to deliver rent checks.

Why don't you just ask them how they would like you to pay. Otherwise I would expect an eviction notice shorty.
