Was jesus Gay? Did He masturbate? What do you think of this? I think it's so disrepectful to speak of someone as Jesus that way, no matter what my lifestyle is...to think he was "just like one of us"..don't you think there's a difference between who you are and who Jesus must have been? I mean, to me, it was just so nauseating..

I thought that it was incredibly disrespectful. Those questions were clearly not meant to spark any meaningful debate, they were meant to offend.
I'm not a Christian, and I dislike rabid Christians in a Jesus frenzy as much as the next neo-pagan queer, but come on people, at least extend people the same respect that you expect out of them.

As a Taoist, I recognize God in all... which means that I see the manifestation of God in all people, so why would Jesus be any different than the homosexuals? All are in Gods image according to your own bible... which also says judge not least ye be judged... perhaps you need some pepto bismo and to read your own set of metaphors .. your bible.
Had you not said you found it nauseating, I might have answered you saying, people go out of their way to ask questions they believe will upset others. While I do not see disrespect, I also do not see anything worth answering.. if some have need to speculate.. let them.. it is their path.
I find it disrespectful for you to be nauseated by the idea that Jesus might have been homosexual.. or sexual in any way. Your bigotry slip is showing.

I don't think it's really disrespectful but it is annoying. I think Jesus was in all sense of the word, Human. That means trying masturbation, drinking lolling after the opposite sex or whatever. To see Jesus in a Human role is also to accept our own divine nature. You are a Child of God and therefor brother to every living thing on this plane of existence. To you it might be nauseating to think of a Deity as human but for someone else it might be just the thing they need. Think of it that way. Blessings, my Son.

I don't see any place in the Bible (and yes, I've read it several times, recommend it highly) where it says "thou shalt not masturbate." So, if it is not a sin, then it is in bounds. Meanwhile, just because he hung around with a bunch of guys doesn't mean he's gay--you'd have to hang that label on some pretty big armies, and knowing some of those folks, it would be a pretty dangerous accusation to make. He was "just like us" in having to face temptations, but it also says He didn't succumb to them. He was "just like us" in that he felt pain and hunger and talked and slept and walked, but He also walked on water when He needed to. He was "just like us" in that He could suffer, and bleed, and die, but God also raised Him from the dead, restoring His life and flesh.
Those kinds of articles like to push the envelope, but read the Book and restore the truth.

I only think they're rude because they're meant to get Christians all torqued up--to shed heat and not light. Otherwise, gay is no insult, and it's no worse than the Da Vinci Code alleging that Jesus married Mary Magdalene and had kids with her.

What makes you think a regular from this section asked it? If you haven't noticed, we're over flooding with bigots and assholes here, leaving no room for serious discussion. Did you just come here to insult gays just because some prankster got your knickers in a twist? Give me a ****** break.

I agree. I think some people just like to get others stirred up and the best way is to blaspheme religion. We should all just ignore those questions and they will quit.

I see nothing wrong with these questions....he was a man...made in the form of man with the same temptations....Maybe he didn't do these things and a better question would be was he tempted by these things...Do you not think he could have been gay or bisexual?

I'm not offended by it in the least...he was, after all, human...or at least made in a human image.
