Definitely yes.
In present days we are in a habit of making many friends and you might have noticed that friends usually discourage us from having close proximity with our parents and family. This policy of friends helps uninterrupted prolonged relationships among youngsters.
'Elders' is a general term better consider parents and brothers & sisters. It is your family members, especially Parents who's advices will be helpful to youngters.

Yes, they will definitely be helpful. People say learn from mistakes. Our elders have reached this stage after struggling very hard and facing many obstacles in their life. They can deal with any situation. They learned out of their lives, so 90% of the time they are right. So learn from their experience. Sometimes they may be wrong. So listen to their advice first, evaluate and then follow it.

elders are experienced persons.they r guiding and devinity is with them. god given power to them for blessings. elders really they can guide any youngster very easily . in present trend youngsters r over confident and egoistic due to to technical scientific development. but emotions of negativity haunt them inside in form sex violence romance bad friendship led them to collapse from the main plotform of family culture. most of youth hiding their disturbances. which only elders can guide properly. even in culture marriages elders guide small conflicts solutions very easily. tension depression fear anger feelings would get dissolve automatically . once u keep focussing on respect. pranam to elders and touch their feet would add much strengh to internal powers. mainly teachers parants scoldings r like real blessings which washaway many mistakes done unknowingly. follow and respect them ,..

I think so. Even if they seem like they aren't listening or care what elders say sink into their minds and stay with them. Its better to advise and hope they listen then to do nothing at all.

U know something buddy,
I have always found myself in a rut - wen I ignored wat my dad said n did something he never wanted me to...
Elders r all experienced n know it all - watever we have not ever faced even...
But then, we all have this tendency of - falling on our own legs and bruising them - and then only we'll learn to walk...
