my period is expected today but I have been feeling nauseaus with sore breasts for about 2 weeks. my period last month was a week early and very heavy because i stopped my birth control. so now I have not had a period in 5 weeks, but If I go by my normal one, then it would be due today. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative but still no period. what is wrong with me?

I seem to remember that your cycle can be disrupted temporarily when you go off the pill. Your body is figuring out how to regulate itself again, and it may never be as regular as when you were on the pill. If the pregnancy test was negative, you're not pregnant. If you're concerned about the irregularity, see your doctor.

your body is adjusting to not having the birth control i had that problem when i switched from one to another i had to stop one for 6 wks it came back to normal after that. it wont hurt to see a dr just in case tho.

Stress and illness, new diets and what not can all affect your period but check with a gyno just to make sure.

Wait a week or so and try the test again...it's your either pregnant, or your just really hormornal....Good luck

I highly recommend you go see your doctor. You could be pregnant you could not be pregnant. Best to go find out ASAP
