Is Boston the fastest cities outside of New York?

Not sure what this question is exactly looking for. . .But yes, Boston is a big city outside of New York, fast moving. . .close to NYC. Not as big or crowded though.

The closest big city to get to going northeast yea, but its about 4 hours to get up here. There are probably closer cities in PA or NJ to NYC though? If you mean fastest paced or something, it is pretty fast paced but not anymore than most cities of its size. There is a lot of colleges and technology type businesses in the are though.

Boston is not too far away from New York. Only about 45 mins by jet.
