Never, Never, NEVER sleep in contacts.

You can shower in them, but be careful not to get water in your eyes, and careful when you towel your face.

I have been wearing contact lenses for over 15 years now. I wear soft lenses that you throw away after 1 week of use. I never take them off to sleep or to take a shower or even to swim in the pool ( I wear goggles) or the ocean. The only problem I have is that when I wake up my eyes are dried out so I need to use re wetting drops immediately, otherwise I am not able to se well for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Just ask your doctor if you can do that.

Showering with contacts, I would say, is fine so long as you don't get water in your eyes. It can really sting. Not to mention the risk of losing one of your contacts. As for sleeping in contacts, it's not a good idea. Your eyes naturally secrete proteins when there's something foreign in them (you know the eye boogers you get?). When you sleep with your contacts in, the proteins stick to the contact and may not be able to be cleaned off. This could lead to scratches on your eyes or infections. So it's better for your eyes to remove your contacts every night.

Showering, yes. Some contacts are made for continuous wear for 2 weeks or a month. I don't know if any colored ones are, though. Ask your doctor.

You can have a shower but you can't sleep wearing any kind of contact lenses. So, no is the answer to your Q.

Taking a shower is fine. Sleeping depends on what kind of contacts you have; color has nothing to do with it. Ask your eye doctor if it's OK to sleep in your contacts.

It's definitely not safe to sleep while showering, never mind wether or not you're wearing any sort of contacts.

I have worn tinted lenses for nearly fourteen years and sleep in them. you should get a prescription for disposable weekly wear though if you're gonna sleep in them. Regular lenses get hard and hurt you eyes big time when you wake up. Yes, showering with them in is fine and the longer you have them, the less you pay attention to having lenses in. Be careful having your eyes open under water though! As a child, I swam under water in pools, at the lake, etc... with my eyes open but lenses slide with a lot of water and of course chlorine isn't good for the plastic either!

I sleep wearing my contacts all the time. It's not recommended though.
Regarding showers....you could lose it. It happened to me several times when one contact lens fell out my eye in the shower.

You're not supposed to do that with any contact. Colored contacts are worse.

I would definitely not do it, you'll end up with an eye infection. I wore them for about 6 months one time and found they were rather unpleasant if I fell asleep with them in.
