do you mean "resolve" the issue?
if so, i think the world will be a safer place. surely all the countries you mention will breath a sigh of relief as there is one less potentially nuclear incident.
the jihadis: well, many of them would probably be unhappy and continue their war, but without govt support (supposing the Pakistani govt can rein in the elements of the ISI that support them) the problem would disappear in 10 years.

Pakistan cannot afford to see the Kashmir issue closed. It knows that it needs some so called Jehadi movement to be addressed somewhere in the world. earlier it was Aghanistan along with Kashmir.

It knows if Kashmir is resolved - the jehadis would now turn in to Pakistan just like the Taliban did to Afghanistan after the soviets were gone...

Also Pakis know they can never defeat India and China in a military conflict or finacially or in manufacturing or and IT superpower. Hence it sees the so called Islamic Jehad as a tool to influence and blackmail the world. especially after they have the nukes now ...

alll they have to do is ensure that the army stays in power and in control of the nukes .... and fool the world that if they get out of power the nukes go to the jehadis and they will use it against the west...

The western leaders now need to realise this and call their bluff off and confront it and take out the nukes

You may be surprised to know that there is no issue, the issue of Kashmir is Pushed by politicians on both sides to fool the public and find the ways to remain in power. You must go and see in the evening the flag lowering ceremonies every day at the border between India and Pakistan at Wagah near Amritsar to understand what I am saying,Will you believe the Army on both sides play friendly volley ball matches and have dinners together at least once a month. It is very hard for any outsider to understand this culture.
