Democrats care about people from all walk of life and Republican could give 2 sh/t's about the poor and indigent! Democrats are fair! Republicans are about the almighty dollar! Democrats if or when they do their dirt, people scrutinize them by wanting to put their heads on a chopping block! Republicans when they do their dirt, people just look away and say to themselves "Oh well, they must have had a good reason for doing it"! To me all of them have their skeletons in the closet it's just that the closet door opens a little faster on Democrats because there is always some noisy a*s Republican bugging the situation and leaking it to the media. Republicans are a bunch of tattle tale, stick in the mud, stuck-up bunch of as*holes!
PS: Republicans are so brainwashed. The people who are Republicans can't even think for themselves except when it's time to do an evil deed. That's when they start shouting "Death Penalties, get the shotguns, hang em high! Motha F*ckas! They can kiss my a*s!

There are many differences - but the main one is that Republicans (supposedly) believe in a smaller federal government and more power being given to the state and individual.
You wouldn't know if from the current administration, though.

Democrats generally enact and enforce legislation concerning common people's problems such as the minimum wage, health care for everyone, the welfare saftey net, union issues and things like that. Their main ideology is that individuals in general cannot solve all of societies problems on their own and so need government regulations and government programs to step in and help people out. Republicans generally enact and enforce legislation concerning corporation's and company's problems such as reduction of taxes, moderation of regulation of industries, allowing greater free trade and capitalism to flourish. Their main ideology is that people are capable of solving pretty much all their own problems and that government should stay out the way as much as possible.

The only difference is their ideals and how they feel the government should run and how involved in the lives of the people they should be. If you look at us in the general sense, we are all essentially the same beasts.
Frightening, isn't it? How two groups of people can fight so bitterly to achieve essentially the same results??
