Verizon is sending you a text message to let you know that you can view your bill online-You're billing cycle is up and you're starting on a new cycle... and you can pay it online or you can dial #pmt to make a payment to them..

Possibly you did away with paper billing and only get text and email notification of your bill?

You obviously need to call them.. Maybe you went over your minutes.. or you made too many text or picture messages.. or you were roaming and didn't know it.. or they made a mistake.. but that text message is telling you you have an almost 200.00 bill that is due..

I'm set up to receive both paper statements & a text reminder every month. The text just gives you the balance owed & let's you know that you've entered the new billing cycle and that you can view it online.

If you've never had a bill this high before, you need to call customer service & see if an error has been made. It could be something very simple like going over on your minutes, or roaming charges, or it could be clerical error on their part. Call them as soon as you get the chance.

You either have an established alert when you set up your account via the internet. Or verizon is trying to save you some money so you don't a repeat of your current statement.

#PMT from your cell phone is a free call to process credit/debit card, check, or atm transactions.

It also means that your balance is that amount. Either you had a carryover total into the previous bill, or one statement tallies to the $190.25 amount.

Dialing #bal from your cell will indicate your last payment, balance owed, and any pending credit adjustments.

Otherwise, view your account via internet to see why it is so large.

I have my bill set up so when it is ready to view on-line I get a text message telling me. I don't get paper statements so this is the way I check and see how many minutes I've used and all the rest. Then I either pay my bill on-line or pay it over my cell phone using the #PMT.

You are overdue on your payment. They only page you when you are overdue on payments.
