pH of 0.5% bleach solution = 10.65
pH of 5% bleach (Laundry bleach) = 11.45
pH of 10% bleach (HTH in water) = 11.50

any substance is termed as acidic or basic on behalf of its pH count..
Domestic bleach is strong base in nature cos its pH count is 11..
Those substance whose pH count is less than 7 are termed as acidic..and those whose pH count is more then 7 are termed as basic.
pH count is the negative log of H+ ion
