I want to feed my 2 fire eels some frozen bloodworms but since I have been feeding them ghost shrimps and earth worms up to now, they just refuse to eat the bloodworms. What can I do?

Buy some frozen mysid shrimp at the pet store. When you feed them, wait until they are VERY hungry and drop a couple of frozen shrimp in the tank at the same time as the live ghost shrimp. With time and patience, they will start eating the frozen food. This is a common method for teaching marine fish to eat frozen food. Many of my fish (both marine and freshwater) can't stand frozen blood worms.

Some times live food is all that will do. If you feed the frozen food wit h the live food and gradually stop the live food sometimes that will work.

Probably gonna have to resort to feeding it live food. People with oscars and such that start out feeding live feeders usually have this problem too, they don't want anything else.

This type of fish like to eat live food.
They have their wild instincts for their whole life just like Oscars.

do a partial water change to get them frisky, my fish all colour up and start trying to breed and eat like crazy whenever i do this.
