Yeah he's taken time off from being burned out from wrestling pretty much constantly for over a decade. He'll be back eventually, but he mainly took time off not just for the rest but to work with his music career and try some acting.

Chris Jericho took some time off from wrestliing to pursue other interests such as his band Fozzy, acting , and even stand up comedy, as well as to spend time with his wife and daughters and son, as well as hosting an xm radio show. He hopes to return someday to wrestling and says in many interviews that if he does return it will be withWWE

Chris took time off when his contract ran out. He didn't want to go on for another five years. His wife and him are expecting another child. This would make nuber three. His so called rock band...noise makers if you ask me.... is nothing but a buch of crap. anyone can make noise and yell their fool heads off.
He was/is doing a play in Toronto and then he goes back home to be with his wife and kids.
When he decides that he has rested from wrestling, you'll probably see him in the TNA with alot of the other former WWe stars. Also, watch for Trish Status to appear in the TNA after she returns from her honeymoon.

Chris has his own rock band. He wanted to concentrate on music and acting. He didn't resign with the WWE. Vince didn't sack him... Eric Bischoff did.

Chris Jerhico's contract expired with the company last year & he stated after 15 years in the business, he was mentally burned out & was no longer challenged by wrestling at this point of time. He hasn't ruled out that he will return with the WWE & if he does return to wrestling, then it would be with the WWE.

i hear a lot of different stories about jericho..but i know he wasnt fired. hes been focuseing on his band and other projects. i heard recently that he does intend on comeing back to wrestling and he talks to vince frequently. they are supposedly still on very good speaking terms...hes one of the best in my book. i hope he returns soon

Chris now is focusing on building up his band Fozzy for tour shows and such.. he has a Myspace page as well as one for his band.
