I'm confused as to what viagra really does, because i need my husband to have a Major boost in his sex drive. There is no erectile disfunction, it just seems like there is no desire. Does viagra only make a man hard, or does it help with sex drive??? HELP!!

I think it only helps him get and maintain an erection.

Actually, all Viagra does is open the blood vessels. This is why you need to tell the doctor that you have taken Viagra so he doesn't give you other medications to open the blood vessels if you go to the emergency room for a heart attack. This does not increase his sex drive. He still has to get excited for it to work. However, if he is experiencing his penis not getting errected when he wants it too, then this would make him scared of not being able to perform. Has he at any time not been able to get an errection when you guys try? Another good indication is if doesn't get the morning hard on like he used to. If you can answer yes to these, I would recommend Viagra.

Viagra doesn't create desire, it only helps make a man hard if the desire is there in the first place. But if there's a *little* desire, I think Viagra could kinda exaggerate it.

Basically, though, Viagra isn't the answer to your difficulties.

Viagra.. does not increase the sex drive... it only helps to get and maintain an errection. This alone however could have pyschological advantages that may increase his sex drive.. but it is not actually do to the medication

VIAGARA ONLY HELPS PHYSICALLY, NOT MENTALLY. TAKE CARE OF HIS EMOTIONAL NEEDS (YES, GUYS HAVE THEM TOO!)
DO AND SAY THINGS THAT INSPIRE HIM TO FEEL IMPORTANT, APPRECIATED, POWERFUL, VALIDATED, DESIRABLE, AND SAUGHT AFTER.
THESE THINGS INCLUDE FLIRTING AND SPONTANEOUS DESIRE.
AVOID CRITICISM AND PRESSURE. THOSE ARE THE BIGGEST PASSION KILLERS.
TAKE CHARGE AND BE A LITTLE MORE AGGRESSIVE ABOUT PURSIUNG HIM. BE LESS AVAILABLE AND DEPENDABLE. SURPRISE HIM.
CALL HIM FROM YOUR SELL FROM A BAR. TELL HIM TO MEET YOU THERE. WEAR SOMETHING DEIGNED TO GET ATTENTION, AND LET HIM FIND YOU. FLIRT WITH HIM AND TRY TO WIN HIM OVER. ACT NAUGHTY AND INSINUATE SEXUAL THINGS. LET HIM 'SEDUCE' YOU....
DON'T ASSUME THAT YOUR MERE PRESENCE FULFILLS HIM. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THAT EGO, AND REMEMBER HOW TO STROKE IT REGULARLY.
YOU HAVE TO GIVE TO GET ANY. THAT MEANS IF HE IS SHOWING LITTLE DESIRE, YOU ARE NOT MAKING MUCH OF AN EFFORT TO BE DESIRABLE OR EXCITING.
