Yes, but plecos will grow large (but slowly if you have a small tank). Try a couple of large snails instead, they will not add a significant bio-load to your tank.

Yes, I used to have a separate aquarium where I would raise my guppy and other live bearer fry. In this tank I kept 3 bristle noses and had no problems at all with fry disappearing. They were actually beneficial as they would stir up the small food particles that sank to the bottom and the fry would then re eat them.

Yes, I have had my pleco for 5 years - he is huge! He has lived in harmony with guppy fry, cichlid fry and fry from other fish.

No yet particular. you may try it yet with the aid of fact plecos have a mushy temperment they might devour the guppy fry. you may shop them in seperate tanks till the guppies improve to a pair of million-a million.5 inches. wish i helped!

yes pleco will do just fine in the tank with other fish and will not bother the babies. I have my in a ten gallon tank with a new bash of babies frys.

Should be fine, but don't get one of those common plecos, they get huge. Stick with a rubber lib pleco or a bristlenose pleco, they only get about 6 inches.

Yes, absoluely. Plecos are vegetarians! They eat algae and plant matter. Baby fish will be ignored.
