Unplug it and hide the cords. That will keep him off the computer, and drive him nuts.

Ah, yes. I do this to my parents, too. You need a REALLY STRONG password. Use odd characters, and UPPERCASE and lowercase letters. Your password needs to be at least 6 characters long, but it sounds like yours needs to be longer. Additionally, change your "forgot my password" question to something only you would know, and don't ever tell anybody. Alternately, change it to the exact opposite of what the real answer is. If all else fails, hide the power cord to the PC, and only plug it back in when *you* need the PC.

Why are you not letting him use the computer? that's mean, if he bypassed your security a lot of times he may be or very smart or a computer genius, you should be encouraging this! shame on you... I have my own computer since 11 and i learned a lot, in fact now i have my own business fixing computers and im only 19!!! I thank god my parents never hid the power chord or anything like this, and by the way if you hide it he can get one at best buy for like 13 bucks so its not the smartest idea, you should better be encouraging

try using stronger passwords like for example
p@$$w0rd
st@Y 0ut notice the o is a zero..use upper case one in a while...
another thing when you set the screen saver make it password enabled upon restart.. Go to power settings and where it says what do you want the power button to do when hit? Just click nothing. Because he can reset the dam thing and log in as guest. turn the guest off or set a pass word for the guest. Always use the stand by mode....

One thing I've learned about children is that you can't make them do anything they don't want to do. The trick is to make them want to. I told my daughter that she's not allowed to be on the computer when we are not at home and that we can tell when she has been on there when she's not suppose to by looking at the computer's history. That way she won't think that she's getting away with anything by lying to us. It's all about manipulating their mind.

Are you punishing him for using it anyway??? Take the damn hard drive with you. Tell him it's your property and if uses it again he should look for another place to live!! It's your house and if he can't follow your rules, then get out!! What else can you do? He is totally disrespecting you and you should do something about it!!

Unplug the cord from the back and take it with you, or, simply tell him that if he continues to break your rules, he will be dealt with by me. I am a huge, scary character and kids ALWAYS listen to me!!!
