I get a yeast infection after I take Clomid(every time) and have taken monistat . I am still not pregnant. Could it be because of the monistat?

OK the only thing I can google up is that sperm can cause yeast infections and monistat helps yeast infections. There are alot of chemicals in monistat and this can reduce the amount of sperm that lives long. but monistate can not be used as a form of birth control. I wish I had a bottle of it here so I could see the ingredient. But the main thing i found is that yeast kills sperm. I would ask your local pharmacist. You can call them over the phone and be anonymous.

It may reduce sperm count as it is a chemical but it is not birth control and why are you doing having unprotected sex. Chemicals do not prevent STD and I'm wondering if your Yeast infection can also give him NSU.

Monistat is for yeast infections sweetie. It does not kill sperm.

i've heard that a yeast infection makes a hostile environment for sperm so maybe that's the problem. my doctor gave me a prescription for an oral pill that took care of my yeast infection. it wasn't expensive so maybe u could ask ur doc about it. i dont' know the name and i'm out of pills to look it up. good luck

I cannot imagine needing monistat and wanting to have intercouse during that same time period.

i dont think so, but maybe you should ask your doc to give you the pill instead (cant think of the name) maybe that would help?
