.Wife carrying is a sport. There is a team of one male and one female and the male has to carry the female through a course of obstacles with out dropping her. The sport was originated in Sonkajarvi Finland. The wife has to hang upside down with her legs hooked around the man's chest and her arms around his waist. The first to go the obstacle course without dropping his wife wins. The prize is your wife's weight in beer. LOL

It's a fun contest that started in Czechoslavia, I think, or maybe Norway. Its a race where the husband carries their wife to a point and back. Running, some of the unique ways of carrying them is in an inverted front position, instead of piggyback. Started as a joke a few years ago, it's become a big thing.
